Pest problems can happen for many reasons. They can affect your quality of life and, in some cases, become a health and safety risk.

What we will deal with
We will deal with pests:
- in shared internal and outside areas that we manage directly
- in tenanted homes where there are pharaoh ants, cockroaches, squirrels or rats
We will also repair existing pigeon deterrents and assess whether new deterrents are needed.
We may deal with mice, fleas, bedbugs and wasps if you have tried to deal with the problem yourself without success, or if there is evidence of a wider infestation in your block.
When you may have to pay for a repair
You normally need to pay for repairs that are your responsibility.
We will usually only carry out a repair that is your responsibility if:
- you need extra support and qualify for help under our vulnerable persons policy
- there is a serious health and safety risk
- leaving the problem could cause more damage to your home
For example, you would normally be responsible for clearing a blocked toilet or replacing a window broken by someone in your household.
If we carry out a repair that is your responsibility, we will charge you for the work. We will also add an administration fee and VAT.
We may also charge you if you damage your home or miss a repair appointment.
If you need extra support
If a disability or health condition makes it difficult for you to access our repairs service, tell us about any support or adjustments you may need.
We’ll consider what reasonable adjustments we can make to help.
