New sign language service
We’re launching a new sign language service to make it easier for members of the deaf community to communicate with us remotely and face-to-face.
Our new Video Relay Service (VRS) means that you can now make a video call to us that will be interpreted live by a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter. We can also contact you through the VRS if you want us to.
You can use this service by using the 'connect to an interpreter' option on the ‘contact us’ page on our website.
If you would rather speak to us in person, you can use our Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) service. This can be downloaded onto any phone or video device using the InterpretersLive! App. Using the VRI means that both you and L&Q colleagues can access on-demand live interpretation at your home or in our offices.
Find out more about the VRI service.
Both the VRS and the VRI services are provided by our translation services partner Sign Solutions.
If you need any form of BSL or language interpretation, please make sure you tell our Customer Service Centre or complete our ‘Report a disability or health condition form’ in your online account. This means we can make sure we are communicating with you in the best way possible.
