Insurance for your home
To keep your home and belongings protected, there are two types of insurance to consider: buildings insurance and contents insurance.
Buildings insurance covers the structure of your home and any permanent fixtures – including the walls, roof, floors, fitted kitchens, bathrooms, and garages. If your home is owned by L&Q, your building insurance is already taken care by us.
Contents insurance, on the other hand, protects the items inside your home and garage. This includes things like clothing, TVs, kitchen appliances, keepsakes, furniture, and gadgets. To protect your belongings, you’ll need to arrange your own contents insurance.
