Creating opportunities for residents through our Employment Support service
During the autumn, our Foundation’s Employment Support team hosted a series of online sessions aimed at empowering and supporting residents and their families.
We worked in partnership with a range of organisations and engaged with over 150 residents to advise them on their personal, professional and training needs.
Our next series of online sessions will be delivered in the New Year.
During 2023/24, we helped 244 residents into work across a range of sectors, including legal, health, finance and public transport.
We have a team of employment experts ready to help you find the right role tailored to your circumstances and skills.
Our Employment Support service is free for all L&Q tenants and anyone in your household aged 18 or over. It offers:
- practical support with job applications – CVs, cover letters, supporting statements
- advice and guidance on the best way to find and apply for jobs
- job interview preparation and mock interviews
- signposting or referring you for other support (what to wear for job interviews, budgeting and debt advice, fuel or food vouchers – as available)
- access to jobs across different sectors and industries
If you’re looking for work and would benefit from expert employment advice, you can refer yourself by emailing our Employment Support team.
Our team will get in touch to discuss your needs and career goals so that we can support you in finding employment.
