L&Q's governance documents
Find our main legal and governance documents that explain how we're organised, how we make decisions and the rules we follow.
Constitution and Articles of Association
Our Constitution is the main legal document that explains what we do, how we're organised and how important decisions are made. It sets out the role of our Group Board and provides the framework for how L&Q is run.
As a housing association, we must register our Constitution with the Financial Conduct Authority. This helps make sure we meet the legal and governance requirements that apply to us.
Our Articles of Association, sometimes called The Rules, set out the legal requirements we must follow. They cover things like the powers of the Group Board, how meetings are run, how decisions are made and how finances are managed.

Standing Orders
Our Standing Orders set out the processes we follow when making decisions. They explain how decisions are approved and help make sure the right checks are in place.
