Making sure that the information we hold is up-to-date, accurate, well managed and safe means we can make more effective decisions and offer better services to residents. The Data Control Plan sets out how we’ll transform to achieve this.

Establishing our data architecture*

We will organise and manage our data, so it is clear and accurate. This will help everyone work more efficiently to improve the quality and delivery of our services.

Embedding data governance and culture*

We will make it clear who is responsible for our data, what everyone’s job is, and how to keep it safe, ensuring everyone at L&Q uses accurate information.

Modernising reporting and analytics*

We will make it easy for everyone to use data in the same way by giving them simple tools to create reports safely on their own. We will also develop new ways to use data to predict and plan for future resident and organisation needs.

Information and cyber security

We will strengthen the way we protect resident and organisation information from cyber threats by improving security systems, controls and monitoring, enhancing colleague training, and making sure suppliers meet our security standards.
