Energy advice for everyone
Winter can bring higher energy bills, and our friends from SHINE have provided some simple steps that can make a difference:
- Thermostat control: Turning down your thermostat by just 1 degree can save you as much as £12 a month.
- Layer up: Wearing more and adding an extra blanket to the bed reduces the need to turn up the heating.
- Appliance efficiency: Switching off appliances on standby when not in use could save you up to £65 a year.
- Energy-saving bulbs: Replacing traditional bulbs with energy-saving LEDs can save you up to £65 a year.
Remember, every small action adds up. Stay warm, save energy, and have a wonderful winter season!
