Upcoming changes to grounds and tree maintenance
An update on our new grounds and tree maintenance service and what you can expect
We’re delighted to announce that the grounds and tree maintenance procurement process is now complete and we’ve agreed contracts to make sure the outside areas of your home are properly maintained.
As you may know, last year we went out to tender for all homes and communal services provided by us. We’ve now agreed three contracts, which cover the following services:
- grounds maintenance – including (but not limited to) grass cutting, hedge trimming, weed removal and litter picking
- tree surveying – to check the safety of trees and set out any works required to them
- tree maintenance – to complete any works to trees that are required
By agreeing these new contracts, we hope the quality of service you receive will be improved.
The new contracts have a proposed start date of 1 April 2022.
