Putting your safety first

To make sure your homes are safe, it's essential that we carry out important maintenance checks and regular servicing for electrical installations and gas appliances in homes and buildings. We also check on materials that contain asbestos, water storage tanks, stair lifts and lifting equipment.

Providing access to your home

We have a legal duty to check these regularly. If anything isn’t quite right, we can repair it as quickly as possible.

When these checks are in a home, we need residents to let us in so that we can do the service and any necessary work.

Most of the time residents let us in, but each year there are some homes where this doesn’t happen.

If we contact you to ask that you let us into your home to do these essential safety works please remember that they provide vital protection for you, your household, and any other people who share your building.

We’ll do everything we can to provide an appointment that works for you and will always be flexible with times and dates for appointments to accommodate your arrangements.
