Pride 2023
Pride season is here!
National Pride season begins in June 2023 and there’ll be lots happening throughout the summer for residents to take part in:
- L&Q will be joining Houseproud at the London Pride parade on Saturday 1 July, starting at Hyde Park Corner and finishing at Whitehall Place. If you want to join us in the parade, there are a limited number of places for staff and members of the LGBT Resident Forum – please email us. If you would like to be a spectator and show your support with more information about the route and stages visit Pride in London.
- There’s also a pre-parade Picnic in the Park which starts at around 11.30am in Hyde Park. This a family friendly gathering before the parade itself
- Waltham Forest Pride is taking place on Saturday 29 July from 12 noon at Waltham Forest Town Hall in Walthamstow. ELOP, who are our colleague LGBTQ+ network Spectrum’s charity of the year, will also be there so do come and say hello.
- Black Pride is happening in London on Sunday, 20 August 2023 at The Queen Elizabeth Park Stratford
- Manchester Pride – for our friends in the north, there are a variety of events happening across Manchester from 25-28 August 2023. Anybody is welcome to come along.
L&Q are proud to have appeared six times in the Stonewall top 100 employers for inclusion in the workplace, with the support of Spectrum, and our LGBT Resident Forum.
If you would like to join the LGBT Resident Forum or find out more about how to get involved in equalities, diversity and inclusion related issues at L&Q, please complete this form and a member of the resident involvement team will get in touch with you.
