Costs

Garage rents vary depending on:

  • the location
  • whether you’re an L&Q resident

To get a quote before applying, please contact us.

 

How to pay

You can pay your garage rent by bank transfer or standing order. Use these details below:

  • Sort Code: 20 98 73
  • Account number: 10600261
  • Reference: your garage tenancy reference (this helps us match your payment)

You can also call us to make a secure card payment.

You can pay weekly, fortnightly, every four weeks or monthly. All payments must be made in advance.

 

Reporting repairs

If you garage needs a repair, you can report it online or by phone.

 

Rules for using your garage

Garages are designed for storing vehicles. You must follow these rules to ensure safety and comply with your agreement.


Storing other items

You may store non-vehicle items only if you have written permission from your Neighbourhood Housing Lead (NHL).

You must request this when you apply.


Prohibited items

You cannot store:

  • flammable liquids
  • gas canisters
  • hazardous materials
  • illegal or dangerous items

Business storage

If you want to store business goods, you must request written consent in advance.

 

Ending your garage rental

1. download our Garage Termination form (PDF)

2. complete and return it to us by email or post – the address is listed on the form.

3. return your keys to our Head office

Keys can be posted or handed in by appointment, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Keys must be returned by midday on the Monday after your tenancy ends. If they arrive later, you’ll be charged for an extra week’s rent.
