Our ‘We Support Each Other’ award goes to Sinead Finn

As part of Volunteers Week 2026, L&Q colleagues nominated residents who go above and beyond for their communities, recognising those who are truly passionate about where they live through a series of awards.

Our ‘We Support Each Other’ award celebrated residents who truly embodies this value, someone who supports neighbours, advocates for others, shares information, or steps in when someone needs help.

We Support Each Other winner, Sinead Finn

Sinead is, without a doubt, passionate about her community, the environment and the area she lives in, at Winsor Park.

Sinead has supported several community initiatives, including litter picks, installing bird feeders and supporting gardening projects across the estate.

“It has been lovely bringing people together. The children’s involvement from the school has also been really nice to see, especially helping with the planting,” Sinead said.

Sharon, who nominated Sinead for the award, praised her enthusiasm and commitment to encouraging more residents to get involved in local projects and improvements.

Sinead has also helped gather feedback from local parents and residents to support future improvements within the community.

Through her volunteering and community spirit, Sinead continues to make Winsor Park a more connected and welcoming place for residents.
