South London resident wins £100 after sharing Major Works investment programme feedback
Kennington based resident Sally Stanley has won £100 in a prize draw after sharing feedback about improvements to her home.
Sally recently had her windows replaced and double glazed as part of L&Q’s Major Works investment programme (MWIP).
She was really pleased with the results, saying:
“The draught is gone. The old windows had a lot of rotted wood, so they needed updating. It looks much better aesthetically, and you can really feel that there’s less draught now.”
The work was completed by L&Q’s MWIP partner, Axis, in just one day. Sally praised the team.

She said: “They were very polite, very tidy, and did all the windows in one day.”
After the work was finished, Sally completed a satisfaction survey, which automatically entered her into a £100 prize draw. She was delighted to win, saying:
“I just entered to give feedback, not because I thought I’d win something.”
Mark Newstead, Director of Major Programmes at L&Q, said:
“It’s great hearing these positive stories from residents going through the Major Works investment programme.
From the images, you can see how good Sally’s windows look, and we’re really pleased she was happy with the work Axis carried out.”
“We really appreciate that Sally took the time to fill in the feedback survey, which helps us improve how works are delivered.”

L&Q’s Major Works investment programme is one of the largest home improvement programmes in the sector. The £3bn, 15-year programme will upgrade homes to ensure they meet the Decent Homes Standard.
The programme covers all L&Q rented homes, as well as communal areas in buildings that include shared ownership and leasehold properties.
Residents who have work carried out to their home are invited to complete a satisfaction survey, and those who do are automatically entered into a prize draw for a chance to win £100.
