L&Q has been recognised at the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) National Site Awards, which celebrates excellence in considerate construction and the positive impact construction sites can have on local communities.

Large indoor venue set up for an awards ceremony, with round dining tables, stage lighting, and screens displaying “National Site Awards 2026.”

At the awards ceremony on 28 April 2026, L&Q received bronze awards for three of its projects: Walthamstow Stadium, Prime Point, and Morgan Sindall’s Major Works Investment Programme partnership.

The CCS National Site Awards play an important role in encouraging high standards and driving positive change across the construction industry.

Across all three projects, judges recognised L&Q’s strong focus on health and safety, protecting the environment and working with residents and communities. They also recognised the housing associations focus on wellbeing, inclusion and creating a positive social impact.

Prime Point, delivered by in house build and L&Q, is a major new development located on Greenwich Peninsula. It will deliver 476 homes across London Affordable Rent, London Living Rent and Shared Ownership, helping to meet local housing need. Judges highlighted L&Q’s close collaboration with neighbouring St Mary Magdalene School, including helping create a new facility for children with behavioural needs.

At Walthamstow Stadium, L&Q is delivering a multi-year programme through its in-house build team to improve the safety and comfort of residents’ homes. Judges recognised the project’s strong focus on working with residents, including proactive updates, visible CCS information, and clear out-of-hours contact details. This award marks the third consecutive success for the Walthamstow project.

Finally, L&Q’s partnership with Morgan Sindall Property Services (MSPS) on its Major Works Investment Programme partnership was recognised. Judges highlighted the partners approach to working with residents and focus on social value.

Gareth Powell, L&Q’s Production Director, said:

“We’re very proud to be recognised by CCS with three National Site Awards. This reflects the dedication of our site teams and delivery partners, and their shared commitment to put residents, safety and community wellbeing at the heart of everything they do.

“Working closely with local communities is key to how we deliver our projects, and it’s encouraging to see the positive impact of this approach recognised by these prestigious awards.”
