Limelight is an award-winning health and wellbeing hub located in the heart of Old Trafford, Greater Manchester.
The hub offers a wide range of facilities, community activities and services, as well as 81 beautiful extra-care apartments.
Our focus is on our local community and the people within it. We strive to be the hub of Old Trafford, where people can come to meet, eat, celebrate, collaborate, learn and grow.

Room hires and events
Ground floor
Limelight's flexible and adaptable event spaces offer the perfect venue hire setting for any celebration, special occasion, event, conference or meeting.
Our event spaces are made up of four uniquely designed rooms that can be hired out separately or adjoined together to create a flexible space to suit you.
The maximum guest capacity is 200 people.
Event hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 8pm
- Friday and Saturday: 8:30am to midnight
- Sunday: closed

Warm Hub
Ground floor
Limelight is happy to share that our warm hub is open again for this winter.
The hub offers a warm place for people to get a hot drink and soup, make friends, and socialise with community members.
Opening hours:
- Friday: 3pm to 6pm
You don’t have to be an L&Q resident to use this space.
Limelight Café
Ground floor
Limelight Café is a vibrant, community café with a modern twist.
Run by Tony Nealon Catering, the café offers a selection of food, beverages and private catering that is tailored to meet individual needs ranging from community to corporate and private functions.
Limelight has a 5/5 food hygiene rating.

Amaryllis Day Nursery

The nursery is a unique, self-contained, space offering early years childcare from three months to five-year-olds and registered full day care.
It's been regulated by Ofsted as a 'Good' provider.

The salon

The hair and beauty salon offers professional hair and beauty treatments for everyone in the community.

Old Trafford Library

The library at Limelight is part of Trafford Libraries and is one of twelve sites in the borough.
As a Limelight Library member, you can use all of the Trafford Libraries in the area and membership is free.
At the library, you can:
- browse and borrow books, e-books and e-audiobooks
- use our computers and print services
- access support to get online and use our laptop lending scheme

eyePAD Opticians

eyePAD Opticians have a range of services available, including:

If you have a minor ailment or just need some quick advice from the pharmacist, pop in and the team will assess your needs.

The pharmacy is closed from 1pm to 2:30pm on weekdays.
