L&Q's Health and Building Safety strategic plan

The safety of residents remains our number one priority.

Our Health and Building Safety strategic plan explains how we'll improve the way we identify and manage risks to people's health, safety and wellbeing.

It also sets out how we'll keep buildings safe and meet our legal and regulatory responsibilities.

Building safety

We'll regularly assess and review safety information about higher-risk buildings to help keep them safe and meet legal requirements.

We'll also inspect external walls and carry out work to address safety issues where required by law.

We'll continue to involve residents in building safety matters and listen to their views.

Fire safety

We'll improve fire safety by carrying out fire safety surveys, inspecting roof spaces and completing fire risk assessments more often in buildings that need them.

General health and safety

We'll improve how we manage health and safety to meet legal requirements and help keep residents, colleagues, contractors and members of the public safe.

We'll also work with other building owners and managing agents to make sure buildings where L&Q residents live meet essential safety standards.

Alongside this, we'll provide a range of health and wellbeing support for our colleagues.
