Helping you feel at home this winter

We’ve opened the first string of Warm Hubs to help you feel at home with us this winter.

From 2 December, our Lewington Community Centre is opening its doors between 11am to 2pm on Fridays, when you can come and take advantage of our new table tennis equipment.

We’ll run events such as bingo and other group activities. You’re also welcome to come and spend some time on your own or to work, depending on what best suits your needs – Wifi will be available.

A second Warm Hub will open its doors at the Seddon Centre later this month on Wednesdays between midday and 4pm, where board games and coats donated by L&Q staff will be available.

The third Warm Hub will open at Windsor Park Community Centre in the New Year.

Matt Corbett, director of the L&Q Foundation, said:

“As temperatures fall, we know that many people are finding it costly to heat their homes. That’s why we’re opening our community spaces to provide Warm Hubs over the winter and offer residents a home away from home.”
