Your safety is our top concern – that's why we're carrying out one of the UK's largest building inspection programmes, covering 32,000 homes in 1,850 buildings.

  • We’ve replaced ACM cladding on 27 high-rise apartment blocks
  • We’ve replaced, installed or upgraded fire alarm systems benefiting 2,957 homes
  • We've confirmed that we will not charge for remediation works to the 1,100 homes built by Quadrant Construction
  • We've reassured more than 9,000 residents that their homes did not require an EWS1 certificate – in line with government advice
  • We’ve introduced a new Fire Risk Management System – achieving the highest industry standard of a BS9997 Certification
  • We've committed more than £250 million to implement the government’s new building safety advice
  • We’re a part of the government’s Early Adopters Group, which is leading the way in developing changes to building safety best practice

We've never passed on the costs of building safety inspections or temporary fire safety measures such as Waking Watches or temporary fire alarms for buildings that we own.

Residents will find our charging policy for building safety works, which follows government rules, in addition to wider information about our building safety programme and the latest updates from the government.

For more information about how our building safety programme affects your home, please contact your Neighbourhood Housing Lead or email our Fire Safety Engagement team.

Alongside our building safety programme, we also carry out regular fire risk assessments. We make sure that fire equipment is not damaged and that there are no fire risks in the communal areas. We do this regularly to make sure our residents are safe.
