Residents run for gold

More than 75 residents showcased their athletic prowess at one of our most eagerly anticipated events of the year – The L&Q Living Games.

The one-day event, held last week at Chelmsford Sports and Athletics Centre in Essex, offered a chance for residents to compete in a friendly sports day. From long jump to the popular walking and 100m sprint races, event winners were presented with gold, silver and bronze medals with participant medals handed out to all involved.

The day was organised in partnership with the L&Q Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting communities through investment and partnerships with local organisations.

Charlie Culshaw, Director of L&Q Living (LQL), said:

"It's amazing to see so many of our vulnerable customers enjoying themselves and showing off their medals at our annual athletics event. This year was the L&Q Winter Games.

"It was really good to see families at the event too and hear such lovely feedback from them about the L&Q Living team. Well done LQL and thank you to the L&Q Foundation for the funding we receive to make events like this happen."

L&Q Living offers dedicated care and support service houses for more than 6,500 people across London and the South East. Their support extends to people with mental health illnesses, learning disabilities, older and young people.
