A total of 79 new homes will be delivered as part of the next stage of the Heath Farm development in Partington, after receiving full planning permission from Trafford Council.

The latest homes will include a variety of two and three-bedroom terraced and semi-detached houses, as well as three and four-bedroom detached properties.

All are designed with features such as porches or canopies set behind brick archways providing a modern take on the classic 1930s Trafford home.

These homes form part of the wider Heath Farm masterplan, a major regeneration scheme being brought forward by Vistry Group and L&Q, also with funding from Homes England.

Once complete, this 70-acre brownfield land site will comprise approximately 600 high-quality, much needed homes, including a large number of affordable homes.

The development also features the Heath Farm Skills Academy, a dedicated on-site construction training programme aimed at local learners and designed to help address the national skills shortage in the construction industry.

The new homes will be offered on the open market through Vistry’s Bovis Homes brand.

Ben Townsend, New Business Director NW for L&Q, said:

“We’re very pleased to receive planning permission for this next phase of our development at Heath Farm and look forward to putting spades in the ground soon.

“At L&Q, we remain committed to playing our part to tackle the housing crisis, especially in our core areas, like Greater Manchester, where housing affordability is increasingly becoming an issue.”

Matt Parkes, Managing Director, Vistry Manchester and Cheshire East, said:

“Heath Farm is already a highly popular development among residents and prospective buyers, and this latest phase builds further on that progress, providing a range of high-quality new homes. We’re delighted to have secured planning approval and look forward to continuing to deliver high-quality homes for the Partington community.”

Trafford Council has made providing a thriving economy and homes for all a corporate priority.

Cllr Liz Patel, Trafford Council’s Executive Member for Economy and Regeneration, said:

“We are totally committed to providing more new and affordable homes across the borough to tackle the current housing shortage. We therefore welcome the delivery of housing on this site and the additional homes they will provide for the borough.”

Construction on this new phase is set to commence imminently.
