Christmas carols rang out at Newhaven

Residents at Newhaven Extra Care in Trafford enjoyed a festive treat, as pupils from Forest Preparatory School filled the scheme with Christmas carols.

Dozens of year 5 and 6 pupils visited the Trafford scheme in the run-up to Christmas, performing a selection of songs including O Holy Night and We Wish You a Merry Christmas, which quickly had residents clapping and singing along.


Michelle Livingstone, Extra Care Manager at Newhaven, said:

“Our residents and colleagues love the relationship that has been built with Forest Preparatory School, and we hope this continues for many years to come.”

This year marked the 15th time that pupils from Forest Preparatory School have visited Newhaven to sing carols, making it a much-loved Christmas tradition.
