Beam Park and the Silk District win big at the RESI awards

We are delighted to announce that two of our joint venture partnership developments have won awards at this year’s RESI Awards.

The Silk District, our 698-home joint venture with Mount Anvil won the highly competitive ‘Development of the Year’ category.

Together, we’ve been transforming a former warehouse site in Whitechapel into an impressive new district offering a mix of Shared Ownership, Outright Sale and Affordable Rent homes alongside new facilities.

Our partnership with Mount Anvil has helped to increase the amount of affordable housing and affordable workspace for the area, accelerate construction, and create the highest-quality space for all residents.

A testament to our successful partnership with Countryside, Beam Park was awarded ‘PRS Deal of the Year’, celebrating an innovative PRS deal with Be First and Sigma which has enabled the construction of 900 plus homes in future phases of the neighbourhood – of which 50% will be affordable housing.

Beam Park is one of London’s most exciting regeneration projects bringing at least 3,000 homes to a former Ford manufacturing plant in Barking and Dagenham and Havering.
