L&Q Academy offers 12 new graduate placements

Published on 25/01/2018

The L&Q Academy, which launched earlier this month, is offering 12 new placements for graduates within L&Q’s Development and Sales teams.

The Academy offers apprenticeships, graduate programmes and staff development for residents, staff members and the wider community in which L&Q operates, with a specific aim to address skills shortages.

The roles on offer include quantity surveyors, project managers, a site manager, assistant site manager, and PRS property managers. They are based at Stratford but with regular sites visits.

The graduate scheme offers fixed term contracts for three years with structured learning plans so that graduates can progress in their chosen careers.

All graduates will be supported by supervisors, managers and mentors, and receive regular feedback and coaching. They will also be supported through gaining membership of a professional body: the Royal Town Planning Institute, the Chartered Institute of Building or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

John Bryson, Head of the Academy said: “We are delighted to announce our first big career opportunity since officially launching this month. These twelve placements offer graduates a fast track onto the career ladder, learning on the job and progressing at their own pace within a supportive environment.

This is just the first of many exciting career opportunities that will be offered through the Academy this year including apprenticeships and providing numerous routes into the business.”

Applications are open till Sunday 11 February. To apply please visit: https://www.lqgroup.org.uk/about/careers/

L&Q’s combined employment support offer aims to get 1,000 residents a year into work or better work.
