L&Q Academy launches free course to help residents find work

We know that looking for work can be daunting, which is why the L&Q Academy have launched a new six-week course for job-seeking residents to build their skills and confidence.

The Transform and Achieve programme will help residents improve their CV and interview technique, define their career goals and tackle any obstacles holding them back.

It is free and runs for two days a week starting on October 2. Daily travel costs of up to £10 will be reimbursed, and lunch is also included.

Once they have completed the course, participants will be able to apply for apprenticeships and jobs at L&Q.

John Bryson, Head of the L&Q Academy, said: "Looking for work can sometimes be hard, but we are here to help. It's important to us that our residents feel equipped to take on the jobs market and find a role that suits them and meets their needs.

 

"We hope that the Transform and Achieve course we are offering will give participants the confidence to go out and land their dream job."

 

L&Q residents are encouraged to sign up at at our enrolment events on September 25 and 27 at 29-35 West Ham Lane, Stratford, E15 4PH.

Week 1 – 2 and 3 October

Week 2 – 9 and 10 October

Week 3 – 15 and 16 October

Week 4 – 22 and 23 October

Week 5 – 30 and 31 October

Week 6 – 6 and 7 November
