L&Q receive five Women in Housing Awards nominations

L&Q are delighted to have been nominated five times for the Women in Housing Awards in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Housing.

Zafrin Khan-Wheatley, Head of Development Finance and Amy Gilham, Head of Group Financial Reporting have both been nominated for finance professional of the year. Maddie Hale, Press & External Affairs Officer has been nominated for the inclusion champion award, Diane Hart, Group Director Commercial in the woman of the year category and Ellie Badcock, Learning Content Designer, for young achiever (over 10,000 homes).

Maddie Hale, Chair of L&Q’s gender equality network Inspire, said: “I’m thrilled we have so many women who have been shortlisted for Women in Housing Awards. It is a real tribute to the high calibre women who work here. As Chair of Inspire I come across incredible women at L&Q all the time and to see them get recognised in this way is wonderful.

A panel of judges from across the housing sector will decide the winners at the ceremony on 11 October 2018 at Emirates Old, Trafford, Manchester.
