Issues with heating and boilers are something most people run into once in a while. There are a few things you can do to make sure that your heating is kept in good working order and ready for use when you need it.

In the summer months when you don't use your heating very often:

  • Use your heating for five minutes or so during this time - it can help prevent anything seizing up
  • Keep any thermostatic valves open even when the heating is off

If your heating isn't working when you try to use it:

  • Check the thermostat is turned up, and the batteries don't need changing
  • If the radiators have valves, make sure they are turned on
  • Check the timer has been set correctly
  • Make sure sure have money in your gas meter if you pay this way

If you have tried the tips above and your heating is still not working, you can let us know by reporting your repair online or contacting us.
