Advice on dealing with anti-social behaviour in communal areas around your home, including loitering, vandalism and groups of young people.

Loitering

If there is no criminal behaviour or disturbance going on, we would not usually consider this to be anti-social behaviour.

See our neighbours page for some tips to help you resolve issues informally with your neighbour.

If the behaviour keeps happening or the situation worsens you can contact us to report this incident.

If you feel that you or someone else is at risk please report it to the police and then report the incident to us, along with the report number given to you by the police.

Vandalism

Vandalism and graffiti are a criminal offence, please report it to the police, especially if you have any concerns about your safety.

Please contact us to report the graffiti or vandalism so we can repair or remove it.

Groups of young people

If there is no criminal behaviour or disturbance going on we would not usually consider this to be anti-social behaviour.

However, if the situation worsens you can contact us to report the incident. Please quote any crime reference numbers that you may have.
