Transfers

Residents wanting to move home may apply for a transfer to a new home within L&Q. However, the number of homes that become available for transfer each year is very small and this is not the best option for many people.

To apply for a transfer simply download the application form, complete and post this back to L&Q Direct.

The transfer system enables you to have a greater say in where you want to live and re-houses tenants fairly by allocating properties on time spent on the waiting list.

If you wish to apply for a transfer, you can discuss your needs with your tenancy officer or obtain an application form from L&Q Direct. You will then be placed on our transfer list and we will let you know as soon as there is a suitable home available.
