Any resident currently living in an L&Q home may register for a transfer, with the exception of those holding a starter tenancy.
We will ask you to complete a transfer application form and may then arrange a home visit or interview at our office to check your details. This allows us to assess why you want to move, the type of home that best suits your needs and which areas you would like to move to. We will then send you a copy of your application with confirmation that you are registered on the list.

If you wish to have medical reasons taken into account, we will ask you to complete a Medical form to accompany your application. You can register any comments or complaints, or make an appeal against a decision using our complaints procedure. Further details can be found in the How to make a complaint section on this site, or by contacting L&Q Direct. (click on the blue links for more information)
We will match your application against properties of the size you require in the areas you have chosen. We will offer properties first to those who have been on the list the longest.

Once the response date has passed we will make the offer to the applicant who has been waiting the longest amount of time on the list. As part of the offer process we will expect you to:
Your application will remain on the list and we will tell you about any future offers you may qualify for.
