Transfers

To offer our residents on the transfer list more choice when looking for a home, L&Q runs a choice based transfer system for our residents.

Current availability

Any resident currently living in a L&Q home may apply for a transfer, with the exception of residents who hold starter tenancies or who live in agency managed schemes holding licenses or assured shorthold tenancies (ASTs).

To Apply for a transfer

Please contact L&Q Direct on 0800 015 6536 or download and complete our transfer application form (pdf, 106kb) which will allow us to assess why you need or want to move. If approved, you will be sent login details enabling you to bid on our available homes using the Choice Based Lettings scheme.

Each week all the properties available for transfer applicants will be advertised on the Choice Based Lettings website and you will be required to bid on the available properties you are interested in.
