Choice based lettings

To offer our residents on the transfer list more choice when looking for a home, L&Q runs a choice based transfer system for many of our residents.

Current availability

Choice Based Lettings is available to residents in our West and North-East neighbourhoods.

From Wednesday 28 July 2010 residents in our South and South East Neighbourhoods will also be able to use the system.

Exceptions - Bexley and Lewisham

Due to local arrangements properties in Bexley and Lewisham will not be included on the Choice Based Lettings website.

You will need to register with the following websites if you wish to move to either of these boroughs.

• Bexley Allocations Service
• Lewisham Homesearch

How does Choice Based Lettings work?

To use the Choice Based Lettings system, you must first apply for a transfer.

When you register for a transfer, we will send you details of the Choice Based Lettings website.

If you live in our South or South-East neighbourhood and have already registered for a transfer, we will send you details about the Choice Based Lettings system shortly before Wednesday 28 July 2010. (See the availability section above).

Each week all the properties available for transfer applicants will be advertised on the Choice Based Lettings website and you will be required to bid on the available properties you are interested in.
