More shared owners ‘staircasing’ up than government figures suggest

L&Q are working as part of the National Housing Federation’s Home Ownership Advisory Panel (HOAP). Recent figures released by this group suggest that over a quarter of shared owners go on to ‘staircase’ to outright ownership, far higher than the 8% suggested in Tenant Services Authority (TSA) research in 2009.
