Over 300 South Westminster residents enjoyed a winter festival, which L&Q helped to fund.

The festival was originally set up to boost community spirit after the July 2007 bombings. It was so popular that the South Westminster Renewal Partnership has hosted it every year since.

At this year's festival residents enjoyed activities ranging from arts and crafts and dancing and music acts to circus skills, bike racing and a graffiti wall. They also had a chance to look round and hop on board a fire engine.

Jon Herbert, Neighbourhood Investment Officer at L&Q, said: "We love to get involved in community events that lift spirits and provide different and enjoyable experiences for local residents. This event was a huge success and the festival will go from strength to strength."
