"The first game was against the Farnham Common Youth Club team. The youth club playing very well managed to gain a 2-nil lead before half time. The Thames Valley Police team fought back with two goals in the second half. The game finished 2-2, and with neither team wanting to accept a draw, penalties were played. Unfortunately Thames Valley Police lost!
"The second game was against the Farnham Royal youths. The police team took an early lead with the first half ending 3-nil to Thames Valley Police. In the second half Farnham Royal managed to get one goal back however Thames Valley Police quickly scored a retaliation goal, brining the score to 4-1. With the police team beginning to tire, Farnham Royal scored a late consolation goal, finishing the game 4-3 to Thames Valley Police!
"It was a very successful day with everyone involved eager to do it again."
L&Q sponsors the kit for the police and one of the youth teams, and paid for refreshments on the day.
