L&Q finds a new home in Sidcup

May 03 2011

Cray House - opening

In April, the Leader of Bexley Council, Cllr Teresa O’Neill was amongst those who attended the official opening of L&Q’s new offices in Footscray, Sidcup.

The opening is a significant milestone for L&Q and underlines its commitment to delivering local services to residents in the South East. L&Q manages over 66,000 properties in London and the South East and operates from 20 office locations.

The opening of Cray House, in the Five Arches Business Estate, marks the relocation of various L&Q operational services teams from several smaller offices, bringing them all under one roof.

With existing offices in Lewisham, Lee and Woolwich, the move to Cray House bolsters L&Q’s already strong presence in the South East region.

To mark the occasion, Cllr Teresa O’Neill unveiled a plaque at the entrance to Cray House and said, "We are delighted that L&Q are moving into Cray House in Footscray. Sidcup is a town on the up and I'm sure the L&Q staff coming into the area will bring further investment and business for Sidcup town centre."

L&Q Chief Executive David Montague said, “The official opening of Cray House is an important day for L&Q and is the culmination of months of hard work. The move enables us to centralise a number of our departments under one roof; this will help us to work more effectively and enhance our services to residents.”
