Consultation kicks off at Grove Park
Jun 16 2010
Consultation to get residents' views on community projects has begun in Grove Park in Lewisham.
The purpose of the consultation is to identify the needs of the residents within the Grove Park community. The consultation will take place at a range of locations and use a variety of methods to engage with residents including community days, focus groups, craft events, coffee mornings, individual surgeries, telephone surveys, questionnaires, door knocking and text messaging.
Sonia Meggie, Neighbourhood Investment Co-ordinator at L&Q, is leading on the project and said: "The aim of delivering these community projects is to increase cohesion among neighbours, decrease isolation and help people to get back into work, training or education.
"We want to enrich resident's lives with the work we do in collaboration with our partners and most importantly our residents."
