Cash boost for Bobbies on bikes

Bexley residents can expect to see more police on patrol after L&Q donated £800 to the local Safer Neighbourhood Team to buy bicycles.

L&Q has more than 5,000 homes in Bexley and we work closely with local police to create safe and pleasant neighbourhoods for residents.

The donation to Blackfen & Lamorbey Safer Neighbourhood Team will be used to buy bicycles for officers.

Cheryl Keen from L&Q said: "We have many residents in Bexley and our long partnership with the police in this borough has been instrumental in helping us to create places where people want to live."
