How L&Q is supporting young people

L&Q aims to provide opportunities and activities for young people that help them to develop social skills and reduce anti-social behaviour. Here are just a few examples of where our funding goes:

A dance group
Over 30 people attend a dance group in Lambeth. They performed at last year's Stockwell Festival and received an award from a grant-giving charity.

A schools art competition
As part of last year's North Lambeth Expo, we invited schools to create artwork with the theme of people and places. One of our directors helped to judge the entries.

Football sessions
Young people across the boroughs of Wandsworth, Merton and Lambeth attend football sessions. We link up with other groups who provide the training coaches and organise mini tournaments. The Wandsworth project is also part-funded by The Football Foundation, the charitable arm of the Football Association.
