Jun 23 2009
Over 5,000 Londoners attended the Housing Options London Affordable New Homes Show held at Wembley on Saturday 20th June. This phenomenal turn out confirms that many Londoners believe now is the right time to buy their first home.
Anyone living or working in London, and earning between £15,000 and £60,000 is eligible for help buying their first home. Housing Options held the show so that Londoners could meet affordable housing providers and find out more about how they can buy or rent in the city. Solicitors and financial advisors were also on hand to offer free advice.
Lilah Semmens, Head of Marketing at L&Q, said: "With a record number of attendees this year the Housing Options London show clearly demonstrates the high demand for affordable housing in the capital. Many attendees spoke about the difficulty of getting on the housing ladder and this is something we seek to address with a variety of home ownership products. Shows such as this provide the opportunity for us to promote the help that is on hand"
