Ten Ways to Get Involved

There are a number of ways in which residents can get involved in L&Q. We call the most popular methods used by residents 'The 10 ways to get involved'.

  1. Individual Resident Feedback

    Residents can give feedback in a number of ways, they can write to us, email, call us, register their comments via our website or visit their local office.  See our Comments and Complaints section for more details.

  2. Mystery Shopping

    Residents can volunteer to check and monitor our services. See our Mystery Shopping page for further details.

  3. Estate Champions

    Residents can get involved in carrying out regular estate inspections either on their own or with L&Q staff. See our Estate Champions page for further details.

  4. Focus Groups

    One off groups set up to focus on a specific issue.

  5. Steering Groups

    Unconstituted groups usually formed in response to issues identified within a specific local area.

  6. Communications Forum

    Residents can get involved in the forum helping to improve communication with residents, particularly through Homelife (the residents' magazine) and the L&Q website.

  7. Surveys & Questionnaires

    Residents are either randomly selected or targeted to offer feedback on key services.

  8. Resident Associations

    Elected and fully constituted groups reflecting the collective views of their local community. Find out more on our Resident Associations page.

  9. Resident Panel

    Residents are consulted and give feedback on policies and procedures, service reviews and new initiatives. See our Resident Panel page for further details.

  10. L&Q Governance: L&Q Group Board, Resident Board, Neighbourhood Committees, Forums

    Residents who would like to take on greater responsibility in shaping and improving our services can take part in formally constituted groups which are involved in co-regulation, governance and decision making. Find out more on our L&Q Governance page.
