At L&Q we are committed to creating places where people want to live. A key part of that is providing you with excellent services that meet your needs. To succeed, we need you to tell us whether we are getting it right or not.

We realise how important it is to have our residents involved in shaping our services. Each resident can choose how they would like to work with us and the level of their involvement based on their own circumstances.

Residents have worked with us to develop a range of involvement options designed to minimise barriers to involvement and to encourage the participation from all residents, particularly those from groups who have traditionally been under-represented.

Why should you get Involved?

By getting involved, you can influence the way in which L&Q provides services to you. Working closely with our staff you will be able to make a real difference to the quality of life in your local area and to fellow residents. As a resident you know what we do well and where we could make improvements. By working with us using the many different ways to get involved you can help us provide a service that meets your needs.

What we will do:

• We'll listen to and read all your comments and suggestions.
• Respond to surveys, particularly our resident survey, by taking account of your views and feeding back the results to you.
• Support Neighbourhood Committees and Forums to give you a platform to air your views.
• Provide financial and practical help for residents' associations. We can suggest a model constitution for resident associations.
• Provide access to training initiatives for residents who want to develop skills in things like running a committee or computer skills.
• Publish and update a resident involvement strategy.
• Constantly monitor our resident involvement strategy with the help of our Resident Board.
