How do I get an L&Q home?
Ideally we would like everyone
to have an L&Q home if they wanted one, but we are unable to
offer this.As a major housing association we work very closely with a large number of local councils and specialist organisations. They refer future residents to L&Q.
It is best to register with your local council as early as possible if you need a home.
Visit Direct Gov to find out how to contact your local council.
Our social housing criteria
If you want an L&Q home you must:
- be able to prove that you are in real housing need
- be referred to us by your local council or one of our approved referral agencies:
- or need supported housing.
Our rents, which are cheaper than homes rented privately, must be affordable to those on low incomes or with special needs.
Other ways to rent from L&Q
If you are not eligible for social housing from L&Q, you may still be able to rent or part-buy an affordable home from L&Q.We have a range of affordable housing options, and you can find out more about these in our home sales section.
