2. What happens at Switchover?

Basically, the analogue channels are switched off and the new digital ones (currently being transmitted in parallel) are boosted. Some channels are moved during the Switchover process, which takes about 2 weeks, so it is generally necessary to re-tune your equipment during and immediately after Switchover, to ensure you are receiving all available channels.
