28. Is Digital TV the same as High Definition?

No. High Definition (HD) is an enhanced form of Digital TV, transmitted as special channels on Freeview and on Freesat/Sky (and some foreign language satellite services). To view HD you need an HD TV receiver (and possibly an HD set-top box). If your block is being upgraded for digital TV, then you will be able to receive HD, as long as you have HD receiving equipment (an HD TV and, if the TV does not have built Freeview and/or Freesat, then an HD set-top box or a Sky HD box as well).
