24. I have Sky+ already. Will I still have it after the upgrade work?
Yes, with one possible exception, see (b) below.
- If you are already on a communal Integrated Reception System Plus (IRS+), then no upgrade is needed anyway.
- If you are already on a communal Integrated Reception System (IRS), then in general no upgrade to IRS+ will be undertaken. If you have Sky+, when the communal system is not "+", this means you must have installed your own individual dish. In general L&Q will require all individual satellite dishes to be removed, unless specific permission has been obtained in writing. So if your dish is not authorised you may loose the Sky+ facility, unless there is sufficient demand and willingness to pay within your block to upgrade from IRS to IRS+.
- If you already have Sky+ (via your own satellite dish) and your block is being upgraded to IRS+, then you will be connected to the new system. You will still have Sky+, via the new system, so your existing individual dish will no longer be needed and it will be removed.
