27. Can I receive foreign TV channels?

Any new single communal satellite dish being installed on your block is intended primarily to enable reception of UK satellite TV (Sky TV). The satellites which provide this are located at an orbital position of 28.2 deg east. Some foreign language channels are also transmitted from this position, so it is possible to receive them via the communal Sky dish.

If the foreign channels you want to watch are not available at 28.2 deg east and if there is sufficient demand and willingness to pay the extra within your block, then a second satellite dish can be added which will receive channels from satellites(s) at a different orbital location.
