Involving young people

The role of L&Q is today’s world is about much more than simply building houses. As a leading housing association it is our responsibility to look at ways of building communities and tackling social issues that affect people’s quality of life.

We recognise that problems often arise when there is a lack of things to do in a community and boredom becomes a factor, particularly for younger people. While we work closely with the police, local councils and other agencies to address issues of anti-social behaviour when they arise, an increasingly important part of our work is coming up with ways of engaging and involving young people so that boredom doesn’t become an issue.

In this section we look at just some of the projects L&Q is running at grass root level to involve young residents.
