Non-stop caring for 25 years

Lilian Rushton from Welling nominated Angela and Albie Pavitt for our Good Neighbour award for their non-stop help and support.
L&Q resident Lilian has lived next door to the Pavitt’s for 25 years and regards them as irreplaceable.

She said: “Angela and Albie are the best neighbours in the world. They can’t do enough. I recently fractured both shoulders and they helped put out the rubbish, keep the garden tidy, get shopping and Angela has even helped me dress.
“Even though I am a lot better now, they still help all the time with things like gardening or getting the washing in if it rains while we’re out.
“It’s not just me either, they help everyone. I would never move unless they could come with me.”

Angela said: “This is so unexpected, but hopefully people reading this will be encouraged to help their neighbours.”
