L&Q has joined up with a sustainability charity to train 100 residents across nine boroughs to become ‘green champions’.
The champions will gain practical knowledge on environmental issues, and skills that enable them to reduce their own environmental impact. Ten of these residents who want to take on a bigger challenge will then be invited to become ‘green ambassadors’ and carry out various legacy projects where they live.
London Sustainability Exchange (LSx) is a charitable organisation that works to reduce London’s environmental footprint. Together L&Q and LSx aim to help residents to improve their health, wealth and quality of life by taking a series of small steps to greener lifestyles.
